Can you find the traces of a bridge here?

Somewhere along this street, you can still find the remains of an old bridge.

Most people walk right past it, but try to spot it.

This street was once the path of the Shibuya River, specifically its upper stream, the Onden River.

Though it looks like an ordinary street today, a river still flows beneath it.

The name “Cat Street” is said to come from the many cats once found here.

Perhaps there were stray cats carrying fish from the river.

But in preparation for the 1964 Olympics, the river was covered and turned underground.

And this street was created.

Now lined with fashion boutiques, it has become one of Shibuya’s most popular streets.

Yet Shibuya itself is a collection of streets.

At the end of this road lies "Pink Dragon," a figure who could be called a mastermind of street culture.

Down side alleys, you’ll find countless cultures, each one different.

That is Shibuya.
