There is one final place to visit.
The river before you, this is the Shibuya River.
Beneath the streets you’ve walked, water has been flowing all along.
Under Center Street.
Under Cat Street.
Hidden from view.
But here, the river appears once again.
The Udagawa also joins this river.
Together, they formed the valley of Shibuya.
Across this valley, bridges were built, and people began to walk across them.
One of those paths was the Oyama Kaido.
Miyamasuzaka and Dogenzaka were once pilgrimage routes to Mount Oyama.
So Shibuya is shaped by three paths:
The Udagawa.
The Shibuya River.
And the Oyama Kaido.
Where rivers and roads meet—that is Shibuya.
If you have time, continue on toward Shinsen.
You may discover yet another street.
