The god, Tensashihikoinochi, who passed from Kanjima to Nibu, was said to have been enshrined here for a some time before being moved to Ikkū Shrine in the Kōri District. When it became necessary to rebuild Ikkū Temple, the god was temporarily transferred back to this shrine.
