Ono Castle is one of the barriers built along with Mizuki.

Around 8km of fortification surrounds the summit of Ono Castle. The wall surrounds a storage house in the center, the ruins of which remain today. Back then it was used to hold food surplus and could have served as a barricade, should the need ever arise.

One more barrier to mention is Kii Castle. All three are said to have been built with Baekje technology, but why? The Battle of Baekgang was a battle between "Baekje and the Allied Forces of Japan vs Silla and the Tang Dynasty." In other words, the Baekje people fled to Japan and helped build Mizuki and Onojo.

Now, take a look at some photos of our visit to Kii Castle.
