Shimonada Station is a popular spot for tourists, known as the setting for commercials and movies. In fact, so many tourists flock here that this tiny station easily gets overcrowded. Take your pick of photo spots, but we recommend snapping a picture of a train pulling into the station. Check the timetable to see when the next train is arriving, and if it’s not for a while then maybe you’ll get lucky and see a sightseeing train instead.
