It is said that the guardian deities of Dogo Onsen、 Okuninushi and Sukunabikona no Mikoto are enshrined here in this temple. We introduced their story back in the “Tama no Ishi” spot guide.

By the way, the Isaniwa Shrine was moved to its current location by the Kono Clan back in the day, but its original location was in Yuzuki Castle in Matsuyama, which used to stand where the current Dogo Park is. We hope you get a chance to head over to Dogo Park and continue your journey there.
