Each floor features different wall art. Which floor will you be staying on?

One notable piece depicts a map, which is also shown on your room key card. This artwork allows you to compare the Edo and Reiwa era maps of Tokyo. For example, in the Edo map, reclaimed land is not colored, showing that Shiomi was still part of the sea, while multiple small areas around the Sumida River indicate the bustling activity of the Edo Period. In contrast, the Reiwa map shows the town of Shiomi, including the hotel’s location. This design is also featured on the mugs in your room, so be sure to take a look.

The other floors display wall art that represents the four seasons of Japan. This installation merges scenery from the Edo Period with modern landscapes, depicting the changing seasons from spring to summer, and autumn to winter. If you observe closely, you’ll note the differences in the amount of snow on Mt. Fuji between winter and summer. There are four variations of this work, so you can enjoy a different one each time you stay at the hotel. We hope each piece of wall art excites you for your journey.
