This charming sign was created as a prop for the retro film The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, and it’s actually the second iteration of the sign.

During the filming of Rurouni Kenshin, the filmmakers covered the stone paths with sand, transporting the area into the Meiji period. It’s rumored that all the sand magically disappeared the day after they finished filming.
