If you look down on the village from here, you will see the slope of mountain fortified with concrete. This was caused by a landslide during the heavy rains of 1977—a landslide so fierce that it unearthed a mysterious tomb. While researchers of course wanted to conduct an excavation survey, restoring the living conditions for the area’s citizens was top priority. They stopped excavation just as they discovered over twenty caves belonging to the tomb. Therefore, there are still many historic ruins lying within its walls.
