This former oshi house has been renovated and made into a guest house. Anyone can experience what it was like to stay at an oshi home here. There’s also a cafe, so feel free to stop by any time.
Bishamonya, Horibataya, and Suzuya--the farther down the main street you go, the more pronounced the priests’ homes become. Going from Nakajuku to Kamijuku means getting closer to Mt. Fuji, and maybe those closer to the mountain held it as the most sacred. You can see traces of that reverence everywhere.
