When you open the door, a flashing white light strikes you from beyond the darkness. Please proceed carefully and watch your step. When the room lights come on, go to the back of the room, where you’ll find a sofa. When you pull the sofa towards you, the lights will go out again.

This room was created based on the functional structure of the ear, with the door representing the auricle and the aisle corner representing the eardrum. You will be representing a "particle of sound,” and the deeper you venture into the room, the more intense an experience of sound awaits you.

The artist who worked on this room, EYE, is the central figure of the traditional Japanese alternative rock band "BOREDOMS". His imagination, paired with the equipment created by some amazing engineers, along with the adventurous attitude of the interior designers and art directors, and topped off with overwhelming support-- have created a unique experimental space unlike any other in the world. In particular, the phosphorescent paint powder used in the back of the room was custom made into 3/100 mm grains and was used by EYE himself as a "holy paint" for prayer.

This experience doesn’t require an explanation. It urges you to go in with all your senses activated and ready. So-- are you ready?
