As you walk the streets of Urabukuro, you’ll suddenly stumble upon a pencil-shaped pole. It is a landmark of the area. “Let’s just meet at the Pencil,” they would say. It has been a long-standing meeting spot, around since Mr. Oga was a student.
Inside the Pencil Building, you’ll see all sorts of stores that sell ceramic dishes, beautifully designed cutlery, and other interior goods that inspire visitors to look around.
