Orizuru Tower is a new tourist spot located 90 meters to the east of Genbaku Dome. One can dwell not only on the past of the city but the present and the future by going up to the observatory known as “Hiroshima Hill” or browsing the educational content they provide. There’s even a gift shop on the first floor that sells Hiroshima specialties. This facility might be a symbol for the people’s hope for the revival of Hiroshima.
