MR. KUSUNOKI RISSEI (MR. ROS REASAY)
BORN IN 1960 IN PHNOM PENH, LIVES IN KANAGAWA
In 1990, Rissei came to Japan via Khmer Kampuchea Krom. As a result, he initially stayed at the Senagawa Resettlement Centre in Tokyo. After six months of living there, he moved to Kanagawa because it has similar landscape to Cambodia – paddy fields and mountains. His work was also in the area.
After he settled well in Japan, he wrote his wife a letter. His wife longingly replied with a photo of his two daughters.
In 1996, Rissei arranged for his wife and daughters to move to Japan.
