The Sakuma were one of the few families that served under the rule of Oda Nobunaga, Toyotomi Hideyoshi, and Tokugawa Ieyasu.

They produced this lantern and though an earthquake damaged it, it continues to stand today at a magnificent ten meters high. It was built near the Nobunaga-Bei to give homage and pay respect to the commander Nobunaga.
