This work will be shown in Japan for the first time at the Sado Art Festival. It's designed for both deaf and hearing audiences.

Participants with normal hearing will be asked to wear earplugs to block sound temporarily. This allows them to focus on the visuals and experience "silent sounds" through low frequencies and vibrations felt throughout the body. This approach connects everyone in the same sensory space, creating a shared experience.

The creator of this project, Francesco Spaggiari, based in Lisbon and Berlin, has trained deaf artists as haptic musicians.

Art often transcends language, but this work seeks to go even further by connecting individuals regardless of their ability to hear.

Sado’s rich culture, including Noh and Ondeko, emphasizes experiencing sound through the body. The vibrations of drums and chants are felt deeply, aligning perfectly with this installation.
