The word sheer white was perhaps created to describe this building. The wall is a double structure of glass and acrylic, and the light from the inside and outside influence one another, further highlighting the brightness. In concrete terms what does this mean? Actually the acrylic on the back of the glass is wavy like a drape. This helps the inside light reflect into view.
The glass is also special. Regular glass appears to be green, but glass with higher transparency will not tarnish the white light passing through, and it will appear to be white glass. Bold horizontal stripes obscure the boundaries of the floor, which make the building covered in light even more mysterious. The stars on the top of the roof symbolize that this Dior location is one of the company’s flagship stores. The “Dior” letters of the white LED lights are small. The way the signboard is presented shows the elegance of the brand.
