The sounds you hear are the flow of the natural spring water of Tennen Meisui. The piece of candy is made using this water which is drawn from a natural spring resting beneath this hotel. About 5 minutes from the hotel you can find a public bath called Hakusan-yu, which has a “drinking water bath” where you can experience this water for yourself. The water is so clean that local cooks even come to collect this water. You can also experience the pureness of this natural water through the candy. The rain water which fell from the sky, was purified in the mountains, and flowed through the underground spring now enters your body as you enjoy the piece of candy.
