MR. KUSUNOKI RISSEI (MR. ROS REASAY)
BORN IN 1960 IN PHNOM PENH, LIVES IN KANAGAWA
While living at Site II refugee camp in 1988, Rissei created this souvenir book, which meant a lot to him. Life in refugee camp was hard. Sometimes bombs hit the camp and people had to hide in bomb shelters. He had many memories with his friends.
Rissei said that he created the book because they were all living away from their hometowns, which made them have many deep feelings. The book allowed his fellow camp friends to express their feelings along with each of their photos attached. That way they could remember each other. They all went separate ways to live in different countries. Sometimes he goes through the book when he misses his friends. The book brings back lots of memories.
Rissei got to meet his old friends when he travelled to many countries around the world.
