As you take a stroll in Ozu, you’ll come across the winding and curving Hijikawa River, which fades off into the distance of the surrounding mountains and greenery. Locals say Ozu and the Hijikawa River are inextricably intertwined. Along the river is a magnificent castle and a charming Showa Era promenade.
