Enjoy a Sake Experience with All Five Senses
Minakuchi Sake Brewery was founded in 1895 after the Dogo Onsen Main Building was constructed.
Known for its “Nikitatsu” sake brand, this brewery is situated in the land of Dogo, described in the “Manyoshu” as follows: "If you wait for the moon and the tide, then you should set sail for Nikitatsu Port.”
Taken from the original place name, “Nikitatsu” now signifies “A port full of benevolence and joy.” In this guide, we’ll take you through a tasting of three types of sake, helping you to engage your five senses.
