Magma that has cooled deep underground formed hard pink granite, through which a winding basalt path rose. This place is also known as “Oni-no-tawara-korogashi”, or the “Ogres’ Rolling Rice Path,” as the path looks as if an ogre dropped a sack of rice and left a trail.
